DIl Diet Diabetes and Obesity

Sahyadri – Sakaal conduct interactive session with celebrity Master Chef and Doctors along with obesity theme based ‘Women-Centric’ Health CampSahyadri Hospitals is well known for reaching out and providing excellent medical support for various groups in the city. Thus, when respected media brand Sakaal proposed to take part in our quest to promote our Obesity awareness initiatives, we welcomed them with open arms.MAGENTA LAWN CAMPWe conducted our Public engagement program for Obesity Surgery- Dil Diet,Diabetes & Obesity, in association with Sakal Madhurangan, on Saturday 19th March 2016, targeted at women audience. The program included an Obesity screening camp and nutritional recipe contest. It also included health talks on the topics of obesity, obesity surgery, and healthy eating habits by Dr. Sanjay Kolte, Dr. Satish Pattanshetti & Ms. Medha Patwardhan.These health talks followed an interactive cookery session with ‘Master Chef’ Vishnu Manohar and his nutritional recipes. The event saw a huge turnout of 400 plus audience and a total of 220+ checkups were conducted.PCMC CAMPWe had similarly conducted our ‘Dil Diet Diabetes & Obesity Program – Part 2’ at PCMC on Monday, 21st March. It was a similar event like the previous one and included an Obesity screening camp and nutritional recipe contest. Our team of doctors Dr. Neeraj Rayate, Obesity Surgeon & Ms. Malavika Karkare, Dietician, who were present at the event, interacted with the large no. of female participants present.Celebrity ‘Master Chef’ Vishnu Manohar also conducted an interactive session with the audience and our team of Doctors on his nutritional cookery sessions. Part two of this event also saw a huge turnout and a total of 200+ checkups were availed.
